Movies are like a machine that generates empathy. It lets you understand a little bit more about different hopes, aspirations, dreams and fears. It helps us to identify with the people who are sharing this journey with us.”

- Roger Ebert

I have worn many different production hats from Producer to Director, Editor to Cinematographer, for a wide-range of projects: documentary and narrative shorts and features, non-profit and corporate promotional and fundraising pieces, art and museum installation pieces, live concerts and music videos, book trailers to educational videos direct from the classroom.  While I've often worked as a one-man-band, I also work with a talented crew on demand. I’ve filmed all over the world, in all kinds of settings and environments and thrive in the diversity of experiences to bring to life.

Each of these videos tells a story of some kind and I love the challenge of finding just the right way to convey it for maximum impact.  Having spent years interviewing people live on radio, I love the interplay and the discoveries that emerge from my "conversations" with subjects.  And the edit room is where the creative magic happens where footage springs to life and becomes a film.  Check each of my work categories (Director/Producer, Editor, Cinematographer, Music Supervisor) for a comprehensive list of my projects in each role and my Portfolio for descriptions and clips of each film.
