On Sunday, March 12, THE PEOPLE'S HOSPITAL and THE RIDE screened back to back at the Great Star Theater in San Francisco's Chinatown as part of CAAMFest 2017.

THE PEOPLE'S HOSPITAL screened first and was followed by a Q&A moderated by CAAM Producer Don Young where I was joined by my co-director Jim Choi and SF Supervisor Aaron Peskin as well as former SF Mayor Willie Brown.

Afterwards, Chinatown Community Development Center hosted a reception in Ross Alley.

Finally, THE RIDE screened at 5 pm, opening for the new Steve James documentary, ABACUS to a packed house.
